So there you are, at the Casa Cheapo Motel, wide awake at 1am and staring at the creepy ”art” above your head.  What the hell is that?  A purple sunset?  A dead clown, perhaps?  Suddenly you’re no longer worried  about the bedbugs under your pillow.  No, you’re wondering where miserable crap art like that comes from.  That, and where they buy those foam blankets or why so many Gideons forget to take their bibles with them.

But back to the art… it’s not.

What we try to find at the O’FC is stuff that’s interesting to look at.  Fun stuff, provocative stuff, painted and photographed and sketched and built by local artists.  Sand City, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Salinas, Big Sur…the Central Coast is home to some of the most talented right-brained people around creating an endless source of art from which we can choose.  And we’re always looking for more!
